Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Rent Ki Dokan, we provide a platform where independent vendors offer products for sale. Each vendor sets their own returns, refunds, and exchange policies, and Rent Ki Dokan does not manage or process returns directly.

By using our platform, you acknowledge that all return and exchange requests must be handled directly with the vendor from whom you rented or purchased the product. Rent Ki Dokan is not responsible for any disputes related to returns, refunds, or exchanges.

General Return & Exchange Policy

  • Vendor-Managed Returns: Each vendor has its own policies regarding returns and exchanges. Before placing an order, please check the vendor’s return policy on their product page.
  • Eligibility for Returns: Some vendors accept returns, while others may offer only exchanges or no returns at all.
  • Timeframe for Returns: Vendors typically specify a return window (e.g., 3, 7, or 14 days). Returns requested after this period may not be accepted.
  • Condition of the Item: Most vendors only accept returns for unused, unworn, and undamaged items with original packaging and tags intact.

How to Request a Return or Exchange

  1. Check the Vendor’s Return Policy

    • Before making a request, review the vendor’s specific return and exchange policy listed on the product page.
  2. Contact the Vendor

    • If your purchase is eligible for return or exchange, reach out to the vendor directly through the Rent Ki Dokan platform or their provided contact details.
    • Provide your order number, reason for return, and any supporting photos (if applicable).
  3. Follow the Vendor’s Instructions

    • The vendor will guide you through the return or exchange process, including how to ship the item back (if applicable).
    • Return shipping costs, if any, will be determined by the vendor.
  4. Refund/Exchange Processing

    • If the vendor approves the return, they will process a refund, exchange, or store credit based on their policy.
    • Refund timelines vary and depend on the vendor’s processing time and payment provider.

Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items

Certain products may not be eligible for returns or exchanges. These typically include:
 Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable”
 Personalized or custom-made items
 Used or damaged products (unless defective on arrival)
 Undergarments, swimwear, or hygiene-related items
 Digital downloads or non-physical goods

Important: If a vendor states that a product is non-returnable, Rent Ki Dokan cannot override their policy.

Refund Policy

  • Refund Approval: Refunds are issued only if the vendor approves the return request.
  • Refund Method: Vendors may process refunds via the original payment method, store credit, or alternative means as per their policy.
  • Refund Processing Time: Processing times vary but typically take 5-10 business days after approval.

Tip: Always keep your return shipping receipt as proof in case of any disputes.

Defective, Wrong, or Damaged Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

  1. Report the issue to the vendor immediately (within the return window).
  2. Provide clear photos/videos as proof of the issue.
  3. The vendor will offer a replacement, repair, or refund based on their policy.

Note: Rent Ki Dokan is not liable for damaged or defective items but encourages vendors to provide fair resolutions.

Vendor Responsibility

Each vendor is solely responsible for managing returns, exchanges, and refunds. Rent Ki Dokan does not:

  •  Process refunds on behalf of vendors
  • Guarantee vendor return policies
  •  Intervene in return disputes unless the vendor violates platform guidelines

We recommend carefully reviewing vendor policies before making a purchase to avoid any inconvenience.
